What's Going On in the Admissions Cycle Right Now?
Keep a lookout for information session offerings and law school recruitment calendars—these events are great ways to learn more about programmatic and curricular offerings, ways to get involved on campus, and a school’s overall admissions process. schools are continuing to post new events and their recruitment plans for the fall. If you are unsure how to interact with law school representatives, we have a newsletter on the subject with tips to help you strategize your interactions.
As you submit applications, keep track of the online status checker information that each school sends you in response—schools often give time estimates for application review, what applicants can expect in terms of events and communications, and you’ll be able to see if any application requirements are missing. You’ll also see when your application is complete and goes into review. If schools have any rules on contacting the office for status, submitting addenda or supplemental materials, or for other information, these rules will also be posted on the status checker.
